Non-Defective Product Returns of Country Crafts Country Home Accents, Garden Decor & Other Products

We understand if sometimes you are unhappy with a product that you purchased online. This is why we will accept non-defective product returns. Returns of this nature are subject to the following conditions:

  1. You have 10 business days, from the day that the order was delivered to your address, to contact us to request an authorization to return the product. The return will NOT be accepted if you wait more than 10 business days to contact us. (Special circumstances may apply. We may extend this period, at our discretion.)


  2. You must contact us by email BEFORE returning the product, so that we may give you instructions on how to proceed with the return. Returns will NOT be accepted unless we are contacted first, and we respond to your request.

  3. You are responsible for return shipping charges on non-defective returns, and these charges will NOT be refunded. We do NOT accept C.O.D.'s.


  4. We are NOT responsible if the package gets lost or is damaged during the return shipment to us. Please make sure that you use a reliable shipping method, preferably one with a carrier service that provides a tracking number and/or delivery confirmation. It is also recommended that you insure the package contents.


  5. If the product is returned to us in the same condition as we packaged it, then you will receive a full refund of the purchase price, less shipping and handling.


  6. We will examine the product upon return receipt. If the product is returned in less than the original condition, then you will receive a full refund of the purchase price, less shipping and handling AND a 15% restocking fee. (We charge a restocking fee to help cover the loss of product's value to our company.)

    The 15% restocking fee is calculated by multiplying 0.15 X the purchase price of the returned product. (The "purchase price" does not include shipping & handling, sales tax, etc.)


  7. We do NOT refund shipping and handling for non-defective returned items. We will, however, pay for return shipping and the cost to ship a replacement item to you (at our discretion) if we make a mistake on processing your order or any other error that we are responsible for.



NOTE: We do NOT resell USED (returned) products from our web site as "new" products. Even if the package has never been opened by a consumer, once the product has been sold and then returned, it is considered "used." Occasionally, we may sell a returned product under "Scratch & Dent Specials." We will list the condition of the product, and clearly state that the product was previously purchased.

Defective Product Returns of Country Crafts Country Home Accents, Garden Decor & Other Products

If you open the shipping package and the manufacturer's box and find the product is defective (not properly assembled, one or more parts/pieces are missing, etc.) then the defective product return is subject to the following conditions:

  1. Hand crafted products will vary slightly in appearance, from one product to the next, as they are not factory machined and assembly line finished. This variance is NOT considered a defect.


  2. You have 10 business days, from the day that the order was delivered to your address, to contact us to request an authorization to return the product. The return will NOT be accepted if you wait more than 10 business days to contact us. (Special circumstances may apply. We may extend this period, at our discretion.)


  3. You must contact us by email BEFORE returning the product, so that we may give you instructions on how to proceed with the return. Returns will NOT be accepted unless we are contacted first, and we respond to your request.

  4. If the product is found to be defective (not properly assembled, one or more parts/pieces are missing, etc.) then we will accept the return. We will send you the missing part/piece, OR send you a replacement product, OR issue you a refund, at our discretion.

    In most cases, we will replace the defective product. We reserve the right to decide whether we will send you a replacement part/piece, or a replacement product OR issue you a full refund of the purchase price, plus shipping and handling. We will usually have you send the defective product back to us for inspection first.


  5. When you contact us to process the return, we will either send you a return label (call tag) to return the package through UPS or we will issue you a refund for return shipping paid, via another carrier service. We do NOT accept C.O.D.'s.


  6. We are not responsible if the package gets lost or is damaged during the return shipment to us. Please make sure that you use a reliable shipping method, preferably one with a carrier service that provides a tracking number and/or delivery confirmation. It is also recommended that you insure the package contents.



NOTE: We will examine the product upon return receipt. If the product is returned and we find that it is NOT truly defective, then the return falls under our policy for "Non-Defective Product Returns." We will deduct a 15% restocking fee from the refund issued to you AND we will not refund shipping. (We charge a restocking fee to help cover the loss of product's value to our company.)

Damaged Product Returns of Ohio Country Crafts by Youngs Country Home Accents, Garden Decor & Other Products

If you open the shipping package and the manufacturer's box and find that the product has been damaged in transit, then the damaged product return is subject to the following conditions:

  1. You have 5 business days, from the day that the order was delivered to your address, to contact us to request an authorization to return the product. The return will NOT be accepted if you wait more than 5 business days to contact us. (Special circumstances may apply. We may extend this period, at our discretion.)


  2. You must contact us by email BEFORE returning the product, so that we may give you instructions on how to proceed with the return. Returns will NOT be accepted unless we are contacted first, and we respond to your request.

  3. If the product is found to be damaged in transit (broken, scratched, dented, etc. due to a mishap during shipment) then we will need to notify the carrier of the damage and file a damage claim. You will need to keep the packaging in the same condition as it was delivered in, as the carrier service may ask to inspect the package for damages at the site where it was delivered.

    We will send you a replacement of the damaged part/piece, OR send you a replacement product, OR issue you a refund, at our discretion.

    In most cases, we will replace the damaged product. We reserve the right to decide whether we will send you a replacement part/piece, or a replacement product OR issue you a full refund of the purchase price, plus shipping and handling. We will usually have you send the damaged product back to us for inspection first.


  4. When you contact us to process the return, and we ask you to return the package, either the carrier or our company will pay for return shipping (or refund shipping paid to send us the return). However, we do NOT accept C.O.D.'s.


  5. We are not responsible if the package gets lost or is damaged during the return shipment to us. Please make sure that you use a reliable shipping method, preferably one with a carrier service that provides a tracking number and/or delivery confirmation. It is also recommended that you insure the package contents.
